Neutral Milk Hotel are playing at Harvest 2013
Newly reformed Inventors of Indie Rock, Neutral Milk Hotel (pictured above), have confirmed overnight via their website that they'll be in Australia this November for the Harvest Festival.
Dates...
Sunday, November 10: Melbourne
Saturday, November 16: Sydney
Sunday, November 17: Brisbane
The Harvest Festival Webspace is still in 2012 mode, so no word yet on when tickets will be on sale, the rest of the line-up or whether or not the organisers will crumble under Petition Pressure* and migrate the Sydney leg of the festival away from the muddy banks of Parramatta to somewhere more convenient (ie. Leichhardt Oval).
Unfortunately, festival boss AJ Maddah has also confirmed that the band will only be doing sideshows in "non-Harvest cities".
* Not a reference to the '80s glam-hair-metal trio.

Can someone with a twitter account suggest to A "iamnotshouting" J that if/when Harvest sells out (two seconds after tickets go on sale) then he should allow the Milkies to do whatever sideshow, busking or house party that they want to do.
