Brian Eno (aka Crazy Eno) has revealed the 'hand picked local supports' for his upcoming Lumenous music festival, which is taking place at the Opera House from May 26 to June 14.
Wolfmother vs Charge Group power-trio Palace Of Fire will open up for future-space-rockers Battles at both their shows (May 30 and 31), while Sydney's finest instrumentalists Pivot will be supporting Ladytron at their show on June 3.
In addition to these two 'big guns' there are 5 other local acts (all personally picked by Eno) that will play the supporting role at the festival, including Watussi, The Crooked Fiddle Band and Lolo Lovina. More details of the festival, including who is supporting what and when/where Lee "Scratch" Perry will be 'blowing yer weak little brain', can be found at the festival webspace.

Would have thought Pivot was a better fit for Battles but maybe eno knew that and decided to mix things up.....

yeh.. i think they supported them when they played at the barracks that time (?) ... prefer it when the supports aren't just the diet coke version of the main event. ..
