Pavement announce Australian tour
It has just been revealed that newly reformed 'important' indie rock band Pavement will be heading our way next year for the Golden Plains Festival. In addition to appearing at the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre on March 6, the band will also be playing a whole bunch of sideshows around the country.
Thursday, March 4: Enmore Theatre
Saturday, March 6: Golden Plains Festival, Meredith
Sunday, March 7: Thebarton Theatre, Adelaide
Monday, March 8: Metro City, Perth
Wednesday, March 10: The Tivoli, Brisbane
Friday, March 12: The Palace, Melbourne
Tickets go on sale Friday, October 23 at 9am.
UPDATE: the ticket ballot for Golden Plains 2010 is now open. The rest of the line-up is expected to be announced early November.

Pavement sound nothing like The Fall.
You can tell they were listening to Dragnet during Slanted.
The the first two Pavement album covers are kinda inspired by The Falls "Hex-Induction hour" cover... but thats it!
Pavement are the shit! The Fall are wicked also! But they are both comming from different places.
