Secretly Canadian to release 10th anniversary deluxe edition of The Magnolia Electric Co

There was an audible, collective "Fuck!" yelled across the world earlier this year.

It occurred on March 16, when Jason Molina, genius solo artist and lead man of the amazing Songs: Ohia and Magnolia Electric Co, died from complications related to alcoholism.

Molina had one of the most tender, gorgeous and vulnerable voices in music, and his AM radio, alt country rock songs touched the hearts of many throughout his all too short career.

Now, to coincide with it's 10th anniversary, one of his most beloved records as Songs: Ohia, The Magnolia Electric Co., is getting a full reissue thanks to Secretly Canadian.

The deluxe package of the reissue contains the original LP, a bonus disc of demo versions, plus a two song 10" of two stunning B-sides, The Big Game Is Every Night and Whip Poor Will. It also comes with a pretty badass Magnolia Electric Co T-Shirt.

The reissue is set for release on November 12, but you can pre-order your physical copy here, (you'll receive an instant digital download). It's also available to stream in-full over on NPR.
