Seekae prep new remix EP

Seekae, twiddling knobs, making rad songs.

Sydney Electronic wunderkids Seekae (aka CK One aka Calvin Kleinz) have just announced that they are officially part of the Rice Is Nice family, joining the ever increasing roster, which now includes SPOD, Talons, Miniature Submarines, Traps and Shady Lane.

The group's first release on the label will be a limited edition remix EP, featuring songs by Ghoul, megastick fanfare, Parades and Bearhug re-jigged, re-worked and re-funked by the Seekae lads. They will be launching the EP at Oxford Art Factory on August 6, with performances from each of the acts featured on the EP. Yes, that's the kind of line-up that makes everyone say 'whooo'. Wes Carr?

As a special treat - and because they missed all 14 million of of the fundraising shows over the past couple of months - Seekae will be donating all the money from the night (both ticket and EP sales) to FBi.

The band will also be joining Decoder Ring on their national tour in August and September.

Thursday, August 6: Oxford Art Factory, Sydney (EP launch)
Thursday, August 20: The Great Northern, Byron Bay #
Friday, August 21: The Sound Lounge, Gold Coast #
Saturday, August 22: The Zoo Brisbane #
Friday, August 28: The Metro, Sydney #
Saturday, September 5: Hi-Fi Bar & Ballroom, Melbourne #
Saturday, September 12: Baroque Bar, Carrington Hotel, Katoomba #

# w/ Decoder Ring. Note: on Seekae's MySpace they only list themselves as the support for the Sydney Decoder Ring show, but on the Rice Is Nice webspace it states they will at all shows on the tour. FYI town.
