Violent Soho announce micro homecoming/album tour

When Violent Soho aren't putting "electro pop hipsters" in their place, they're digging up their grunge idols and thrashing out 'familiar' songs using their corpses. Snap. Nah, just jokes lads. Youse are alright.

Anyway, the band are releasing their self-titled second album tomorrow (April 30), which just so happens to look a lot like a re-recorded/re-packaged version of their 2008 local debut We Don't Belong Here.

Tracklisting for Violent Soho:

  1. Here Be Dragons
  2. Jesus Stole My Girlfriend
  3. Son Of Sam
  4. Generation
  5. Muscle Junkie
  6. Outsider
  7. Slippery Tongue
  8. Love Is A Heavy Word
  9. Bombs Over Broadway
  10. Narrow Ways
  11. Paper Plane
  12. Eat Your Parents

To celebrate the 'new' release, the Mansfield louts will embark on a quick bong-fueled sprint up the East Coast during July, which will also coincide with their appearance at this year's Splendour:

Thursday, July 22: Northcote Social Club, Melbourne
Friday, July 23: Annandale Hotel, Sydney
Saturday, July 24: The Zoo, Brisbane

Tickets on sale Monday, May 2.
