What's going on in Sydney this weekend, European Edition.

Hello there. What are you doing this weekend? Since I live in Berlin I'll likely be pumping my body full of plant fertiliser and clubbing from Wednesday evening until early Monday afternoon. But you're lucky. You live in Sydney, and instead you get to choose from a plethora of live music and good wholesome clean fun.

Whipped Cream Chargers.

On Thursday you should probably get yourself down to the Oxford Art Factory. There are several good reasons for this. First of all, the opening band is called Reckless Vagina. For most people that will be enough and you can safely skip to the next paragraph. For the rest of you that are unconvinced, how's this grab you: The Go Roll Your Bones, The Preachers and Whipped Cream Chargers are playing too. Plus, Warhorse Tech Machine and Moe from Djanimals will be DJing. AND it's only $5. AND AND AND the first 100 peeps get a teaser of the Mr. Whippy Cream Chargers album. Go get your tickets at Moshtix.

Peadbody's new video for No New Riffs.

Then on Friday head down Parramatta Rd. to the Annandale Hotel for Peabody supported by Step-Panther, Dictaphone Blues and No Art. Peabody are launching their latest album Loose Manifesto. Grab some tickets from the venue.

Bum Creek.

Then on Saturday (after maybe a nice nap in the afternoon) bomb your way down to Alexandria for some pretty experimentally and generally rad shit from Bum Creek, who will be launching their al-bum and will be supported by Garbage And The Flowers, Super Star, Hochman And Hopkins with an installation by Chris Petro. More info here.

Then on Sunday, go to some markets, walk through the park, see some friends, go on a date. You live in a fucking amazing city, make use of it.
