Christian AIDS

The Information Super-Duper Freeway is a fantastic place. Not just for the Skat Pr0n and BrownCardigan.com (same thing right, Internet Filter Pty Ltd?) but also because it often leads you down magical alleyways of discovery. Like this morning, where one minute I'm pervin' on the beautiful artwork for Guerre's EP and the next minute I'm Balls Deep in the nightmare-trance-wave music of the mysterious Christian AIDS. Of course, this wasn't too much Crate Diggin'. In fact, there's just the one step in-between those two spaces — Norwegian designer Tonje Thilsen who designed the Guerre cover and posted about Christian AIDS on her blog. Life/Web-Surfin' is Easy.

Stay is the title track from what is either a two-track digital/12" single or a Future full-length release, dependent on whether or not Mr AIDS thinks it's November 2012 now or is operating on the standard calendar system as the rest of us. There's plenty more beautifully dark soul moods over on Christian AIDS' Bandcamp, including very nasty/awesome mash-ups with Death From Above 1979, Patterns and Purity Ring.

And while we're (kind of) on the topic of Guerre (again), he's launching his remix EP tomorrow night at Serial Space in Surry Hills, alongside Fux + Sui and Albatross.

Playing times:
8:15 - 8:45 Fox + Sui
9:00 - 9:45 Guerre
10:00 - 10:30 Albatross

* FREE copy of the remix EP upon entry. Winners.
