Jay-Z
Brooklyn Go Hard (featuring Santogold)
This track is blowing up all over the interwebz right now like some sort of MGMT vs Justice vs Black Kids re-mega-mix. And god-darnit - it should be!
It's a super-fresh Jay-Z party tune AND it has The Queen Of Da Blogs, Santogold, all over it. And I mean ALL OVER IT! Not only does Jay sample the fuck outta Ms Golds vocals for the beat BUT he also lets her kick out a verse at the end.
The song will feature as part of the soundtrack for the new Notorious B.I.G film, Notorious, which (if this trailer below is anything to go by) is going to be FRIGGIN' AMAZING (x1000). Just like Biggie's music except with 99% less shitty Diddy ad-libs.
Of course this isn't the first time Jay-Z has dedicated a song to his hometown and here (as a special BONUS treat) is a jam from The Golden Era Of Hip-Hop (circa 1996) with Mr Beyounce teaming up with the aforementioned Sir Biggie Smalls to rock it for the Crooklyn Town.
Oh... and it was kinda magical the way we just linked everything together there, right? Yes. Yes. Yes.

Is it just me, or does the new track (as AWESOME as it is) sound a little too familiar to "Show Me" by Mint Royale feat Pos from De La Soul from a few years ago, just slowed down and dropped to a minor key instead of a major key... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrqgU0Qlba0

Kanye did the beat.. and ... (at some stage) he was part of the third era of the daisy age offspring.. backpacking hip-hoppers.. ie. with Mos, Talib, Common etc being part of the second ... and de la and tribe called quest being the originators.. (obvs)..
and that Pos song is crazy phat
and the video is an 8.3
