Passionately morbid Perth/London/Iceland four-piece, Snowman, are set to release Absence, the final installment of the unofficially titled Dark Nights In A Rape Tunnel With A Pack Of Wolves album series. The record will be the band's last, with the rhythm section recently deciding to pick up stumps and relocate to the picturesque Icelandic coast, where nobody plays cricket and their dreams of working full-time in an abattoir will finally be fulfilled. The remaining Snowmen will stay in England for the time being to focus on their professional London life of designing motorways and purchasing University polos. Press releases.

Hyena is the "seriously epic" first single from Absence and it picks up pretty much right where the unfuckwitably "tops" The Horse, The Rat and The Swan left off. That is, dragging listeners into a haunted forest, violently clattering their weak little brains out and then ensuring they give them pants-pissing nightmares from now until eternity. Soaked for lifes.

Absence will be released on April 22 via Dot Dash/Remote Control.

Currently in the works: a 4000 word article on how the music industry is losing it's brightest stars to professional occupations — and how killing cows in Iceland looks like a desirable alternative to playing music — as well as how the continual usage of triangles and other incompatible non-UTF-8 characters in song/album titles is not helping matters.
